Directions

The Island
This south facing bedroom shares its name with the field next to the river. This piece of ground was once an island. Over the years the river has changed its course, to its present day position, but during heavy rain it reverts back to its origional path.

Badgers Den
To the east of the house, nestled in the mountain there is a small green field. This field has been known localy as the "Badgers Den", due to the abundence of dens found there.

Orchard Pool
The name of the bedroom is derived from the pool outside its window. As there was once an orchard growing in the field next to the pool.
This pool was a haven for poachers in the past, and to this day anglers still find it a rewarding place to fish.

Our Rooms
